Eleven-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Jamey Johnson is “one of the greatest country singers of our time,” according to the Washington Post. He is one of only a few people in the history of country music to win two Song of the Year Awards from both the CMA and ACMs.

His 2008 album, That Lonesome Song, was certified platinum for 1 million in sales, and his 2010 ambitious double album, The Guitar Song, received a gold certification.

In addition, he won two Song of the Year Trophies, for “Give It Away” and “In Color,” both from the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association. He has received tremendous praise from The New York Times, Rolling Stone, The Wall Street Journal and other publications, many of which have hailed his albums as masterpieces.

In 2012, the Alabama native released his fifth studio album, a tribute project to late songwriter Hank Cochran. The Grammy-nominated Living for a Song: A Tribute to Hank Cochran paired him with Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris, Ray Price, Elvis Costello, George Strait, Vince Gill and Merle Haggard.

In 2013, the Nashville Scene’s 13th annual Country Music Critics’ Poll named it the year’s best album. (Two years earlier, the same poll named Johnson’s The Guitar Song as the year's best album, and Johnson himself as best male vocalist, best songwriter and artist of the year.)

Chris Hennessee
I loaded up the truck in 1998 and headed out of Decatur TN bound for Nashville chasin' my dreams like so many others before me. Somewhere in the past 15 years I realized it's the chasin' that's important. Regardless of the outcome, gettin out of my comfort zone and goin for it is what it's all about. Through the years I've been blessed to have the opportunity to write with some of the most talented people in the world and play with the most talented musicians. I've also been blessed with cuts on records like Billy Currington's "A Little Bit Of Everything" and Tate Steven's brand new self titled album as well as Kevin Fowler, Corey Morrow, and Rodney Carrington, albums just to name a few.

These days I have the good fortune of traveling all over the country with one of the most talented singer/songwriters in the world in Jamey Johnson. Since joining up with Jamey and his band I've had the opportunity to share the stage with folks like Alison Krauss, Willie Nelson, George Strait, Ronnie Dunn, and Emmylou Harris. I get the chance on a weekly basis to perform my songs in front of Country music fans from San Fransisco to Long Island. I also recently played harmonica on a track for an upcoming tribute to one of my favorite bands "Alabama".

In 2010 I released a compilation of self written songs on the album "Hennessee Like Tennessee" and released the single "Waylon Jennings Song" to Satellite radio.
In November of 2012 I released my latest album "Revival" which includes the single "Red Dress". The album was produced by Dave cobb who has produced or co-produced records by the likes of Jamey Johnson, Shooter Jennings, and the Oak Ridge Boys as well as many other country and rock acts.

One thing I know for sure, God has a plan for all of us and the odds are those plans are not exactly the plans we've made for ourselves. Just let him drive and enjoy the ride. He has blessed me with a beautiful (inside and out) wife who supports me 100 percent, a supportive family and the opportunity to play guitar and tell stories for a living. I couldn't ask for more.
