We regret to inform you that we have decided to cancel this year’s 8th Annual Homecoming and 32nd Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday, December 29th at the Charleston Music Hall.

Unfortunately, the rise in COVID-19 cases has reached a level where we feel we can no longer responsibly ask our fans to join us for a show.

Many continue to feel the effects of this virus and despite going into this year’s celebration with the best of intentions, planning with comprehensive precautionary measures in mind, the health and wellbeing of our families, friends, and fans is our number one priority.

After seeing cases spread more quickly after Thanksgiving, we’re encouraging our band, crew, and team to stay close to their families this holiday season. We ask our fans to do the same. To that end, we’ll also be canceling the livestream for this show.

After the holidays, we hope to announce a livestream for the early part of next year, provided it’s safe to do so. Stay tuned to our social media for updates.

We’ll be reaching out directly to all that have purchased tickets already with information on how you can receive a full refund.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones this holiday season and we’ll see you all in 2021.

Bobby, Hank & The Blue Dogs

Blue Dogs:

Since 1987, South Carolina’s The Blue Dogs have been blending the genres they grew up with – bluegrass, country, rock & soul – “turning bluegrass on its ear by creating what’s now referred to as ‘Americana’ or ‘alternative country’ before those terms were commonplace” [Charlotte Observer, 2012]. More than 30 years later, The Blue Dogs continue to perform unpredictable and upbeat live shows with original songs that capture a country-rock vibe.
