Yeehaw Junction
Yeehaw Junction
Bluegrass music has been a part of our heritage and culture in the Carolinas for nearly a century. The Charleston-based bluegrass band, YeeHaw Junction, is keeping the tradition alive and strong in South Carolina’s Lowcountry and throughout the region for the past 19 years. The band has been featured on ETV and has performed at events and festivals from the Carolinas to Great Britain. Stringed instruments are the core of any traditional bluegrass band: Jeff Meierer on mandolin, Kristen Meierer on upright bass, David Grant on guitar and Tadd Huff on banjo. Their hot picking and smooth harmonizing will provide an all-acoustic treat for any bluegrass fan.
Southern Flavor Bluegrass
Southern Flavor Bluegrass
SOUTHERN FLAVOR BLUEGRASS BAND is comprised of F,.B.Del Porto, lead & rhythm guitar, lead & harmony vocals, Anthony Del Porto, bass , lead & harmony vocals, Kevin Gore, banjo, and George B. Del Porto mandolin , lead & harmony vocals. We specialize in tight family harmony (blood harmony, as they say in the mountains), doing a mixture of traditional and progressive bluegrass music on all acoustic instruments.
Dallas Baker & Friends
Dallas Baker & Friends
Dallas Baker is a native of the greater Charleston, South Carolina area. He now resides on James Island with his lovely wife, three children, two rescue dogs, and a mini-rex bunny. Dallas is a food and beverage connoisseur by day and music man by night. His passions are his family, playing music, yoga, surfing, and kayaking.

Dallas first started his music career playing heavy metal as a teenager at local music venues. Later on he found his niche in the Bluegrass/Folk/Americana genre. His love for Bluegrass music grew as a member in the band, Steel Rollers. Steel Rollers was known around town for being a rowdy bluegrass band. They brought in a lively and fun crowd to the Charleston Pour House as well as other local music venues in Charleston. After parting ways with Steel Rollers Dallas started up his own band, Dallas Baker & Friends. Dallas describes his music as “Roots Grass”. Dallas Baker & Friends have recorded a 9 track EP with Plowground Productions on Johns Island by Jim Donnelly. You can request to get a copy of his album at any of his shows. Eventually DB&F became a side project for Dallas after he and a friend started up the band, Big John Belly.

As a member in Big John Belly, Dallas played bass, harmonica, and vocals. Dallas is proud of his accomplishment as a BJB member winning '2014 Up and Coming Act' by Charleston City Paper Music Awards. As much as Dallas enjoyed being a member in BJB he wanted to pursue his love for bluegrass music. In December of 2014 Dallas resigned from BJB and DB&F became his primary focus. DB&F are currently in the process of recording their next full length studio album “Albemarle Blues”. With no expected release date of Albemarle Blues Dallas and his friends will continue to play in and around Charleston.
