The LowCountry Irish Fest is a musical and cultural gathering celebrating all things uniquely Irish in the South Carolina Lowcountry.  From some of Charleston’s founding fathers to Irish plantation owners and laborers. From Irish pirates to the Irishmen who powered the HL Hunley with their bare hands, the Irish and Charleston have always been one. Come join us for: Live Music and Dance, Pipes and Drums, History and Irish Culture, Family Friendly!

12:00 noon – Doors open

1:00pm – Charleston Pipe Band marches us in and opens the show.

Welcome and opening remarks including pledge to the US flag and two national anthems

1:10 – 1:20 – Charleston Pipe Band

1:20 – 2:10 – The Bograts (Charleston, SC  guitar/fiddle duo. Pub and traditional Irish)

2:10 – 2:30 – Legacy Irish Dancers

2:30 – 3:30 – The Byrne Brothers (four piece Irish family group – music and dance)

3:30 – 3:40 – Joe Kelly remarks. Director of the School of Irish Studies, College of Charleston

3:40 – 5:00 – Carroll Brown Band (four piece Irish/American band)

5:00 – 5:30 – Legacy Irish Dancers (set #2)

5:30 – 6:45 – SYR (Acoustic Celtic Folk Rock band)
