Bolstered by minor internet fame and overly supportive friends, Tik Tok “star” Jake Babbitt tries his hand at comedy stardom off-line. He soon finds out that raking in the laughs isn’t as easy as raking in the likes. Enter Val, a comedy natural with a fear of the limelight. Together, they make a dynamic duo. But, when the applause starts to roar, who really gets to claim the fame? Some Kind of Funny is a fun musical romp set in the wild world of stand up comedy and featuring favorite hit tunes from the 80s through today.
