Charleston Music Hall and Auntie’s House are thrilled to present A Celebration of 60 Years of Black Music Featuring The Princess of Soul: Tia Durant & Tommy Brown on Friday February 9th at 8pm. This celebration of Black Music for Black History Month will feature two amazing bands along with Tia Durant and Tommy Brown. We will travel through 60 years of Music that was shaped by some of the greatest performers of our time. Expect to hear some of your favorite hits from artists like: Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Tina Turner, Chaka Khan, Staple Singers, Prince, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Luther Vandross & Many More! The evening will be hosted by one of our favorites, but it is a surprise! Come dressed as your favorite decade and get ready to enjoy a night filled with soulful tunes, captivating performances, and a celebration of the rich musical heritage of black artists. It’s an event you won’t want to miss!
